Vuxxx Bolus Se-PILL

The Se-PILL is a selenium + Vitamin E pill made of sodium selenite and vitamin E for cows with low selenium levels. A low selenium level can lead to fertility disorders, weak muscles, lying down, and retained placenta. Additionally, this can also affect newborn calves, such as weak muscles and a reduced ability to suckle or stand.
The Se-Pill improves selenium provision and reduces muscle weakness.
Dosage: 1 bolus 3 weeks before the calculated calving date.
Administration: Oral, in the mouth.

Vuxxx bolus E-PILL Energy

This E-PILL bolus provides your cow with the necessary energy. If your cow has a negative energy balance, this is likely caused by a rapid increase in milk production after calving. The cow is unable to absorb enough energy and therefore needs a little extra. This bolus contains sodium propionate for more energy and to reduce the amount of ketones in the blood. This pill also offers good support as a follow-up treatment for ketosis or an abomasum surgery.
Dosage: 2 boluses per day for 2 days.
Administration: Oral, administer with bolus applicator in the mouth.

Vuxxx Bolus pH-PILL

The pH-PILL is a bicarbonate bolus for cows that have problems with or to increase the pH value in the rumen in case of rumen acidosis. The pH-PILL ensures that the rumen is back in balance. The bicarbonate increases the pH value in the rumen directly. Rumen acidosis occurs when the balance in the rumen is disturbed, for example due to a lack of structurally rich roughage or a too rapid increase in the amount of concentrated feed (beginning of lactation). Changes in the ration and heat stress can also cause rumen acidosis. As a result, the rumen can no longer function optimally and the condition and milk yield of the cow decreases and the risk of metabolic diseases increases. Symptoms of rumen acidosis are a low milk fat content, decreased feed intake, decreased milk production and thin or poorly digested manure.

Dosage: 2 boluses per day for 2 days.

Vuxxx Bi-PILL Bolus

Vuxxx Bi-PILL Bicarbonate bolus is effective against acidosis and dehydration. The Bi-PILL is a sodium bicarbonate pill that increases the drinking desire in calves with diarrhea, because with diarrhea, calves lose not only fluids but also buffers and become dehydrated and acidified. The Bi-PILL may be used in organic production in accordance with Regulations (EC) No. 834/2007 and (EC) No. 889/2008.

Dosage: Calves: At the first symptoms of diarrhea, immediately 1 bolus. Then 1 bolus after the next 3 meals. Dairy cows: Give 4 boluses at once.
